Brampton Piano

Amy Valyear teaches piano and music theory privately in her home studio. Lessons for individual students are generally half an hour once a week, increasing to 45-minutes or one hour for more advanced students.

Group lessons: Amy also teaches the Music for Young Children program and enjoys doing general music classes with children at local daycare centres and private schools.

Amy graduated with honours from Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto, where she studied piano, specializing in the area of Music Education. She also holds an ARCT in Piano Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

She has performed in several live concerts and television performances with the TIP Monster Concert pianists. She also serves as a church pianist and as an accompanist for examinations and festivals.
