Ballet - let's talk about it! offers hands-on ballet-appreciation programs for children. The idea is to create an opportunity for exploring ballet in a way not ordinarily available within the standard dance-studio experience.
The programs run between 45-60min (some have a themed craft component that extends the duration of the activity) and combine watching short ballet video clips, introducing the plot of a narrative ballet, trying out ballet steps and choreography, trying on ballet costumes and more.
Current program topics and themes are: Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and The Origins of Ballet. Most programs can be adapted to suit different age groups, and you can inquire about tailoring a program to a topic or theme that you are interested in exploring.
