Robert Einarsson is an English Instructor in Edmonton, Alberta. His website would be appropriate for high school students especially in the areas of grammar and poetry, and contains text documents as well as audio recordings of a number of his first-year university lectures.
Free resources on the website include Traditional English Sentence Style, a self-guided workbook on the sentence style of classic English writers.

Guys Read
A literary initiative for boys from Jon Scieszka, the creator of "The Three Little Pigs" and "The Stinky Cheese Man." This is a great program designed to get boys interested in reading and to connect them with books they will enjoy. CLSO-math offers a free sample of its lesson on Fractions. Unlike some conventional approaches to math instruction, which start with abstract concepts and end with application in the real world, the CLSO (Concepts-Language-Symbols-Operations) approach is to follow the learner's path of least resistance by starting with direct perceptual understanding through the visual (and/or kinesthetic, if using manipulatives rather than the images of the workbooks), and building the math procedures step by step through "scaffolding" that eventually leads to the underlying abstract concepts. The demo on the web site's home page shows a very easy, step-by-step process for learning how to solve algebra problems. The free sample to download, is on fractions. is a free online resource for math practice and testing. The money section includes Canadian coins. Students can access all of the tests without registration. Immediate feedback is in terms of right or wrong only (the correct answer is not given after a mistake is made). Free registration for teachers allows customization of quizzes and record-keeping of students' scores.

Canadian Sugar Institute's Nutrition Information Service includes online information about nutrition, the history of sugar, sugar science, sugars and health, and free downloadable educational PDF files that form an integrated curriculum resource for grades 4-6.
